For the 180 bears who have attended the MN Bear Ball weekend in the past, we have a few new events this year, plus some old favorites!

The UnderBear Ball with up to 4 drink tickets if UnderBear will be our Friday welcoming party this year, and of course we have to continue the tradition of a clothing optional pool party in the beautiful Minnesota Summer!

But this year, we're also planning events around The Big Muddy, the mighty Mississippi River that flows through Downtown Minneapolis. After a few hours frolicking in the Saturday afternoon sun at our Wet Fur Country Pool Party, a sit-down dinner is planned at the new restaurant Picosa on the riverfront -- a beautiful Latin-fusion restaurant with shortribs, chicken, or brasied pork entrees -- all included.

After dinner, the sky lights up with our local Aquatennial fireworks over the river, the largest annual fireworks display west of the Mississippi! Following the rocket's red glare, we've rented out the Riverplace atrium for a Saturday Night Bear Ball.... no need to fight the Aquatennial traffic, just stay on the riverfront all night and enjoy the nighttime Minneapolis Skyline with your new furry friends!

On Sunday at 2pm, we've planned a Mississippi lock-and-dam cruise on the luxury yacht Paradise Lady. Cash bar, music, and a little tour of this mill town's history, plus a visit to the rebuilding of the 35W bridge. Afterwards, head over to the Eagle for their Sunday afternoon Beer Bust and Showtunes to close out the weekend!
